This is just a shot in the dark - but I tried looking at familysearch.org
for Ross Blackburn, and this is what I came up with ---
1880 Kentucky Census Grant Co
Margaret BLACKBURN Self W Female W 39 KY Keeps House

And, from other brief searches, I came up with a marriage for Emma D.
Blackburn to an Asa Kinman.
