Greenup County Researchers,

I have received several reports of problems with the Greenup County Discussion
List. If you receive this message you are subscribed to the list
successfully.
I just checked with the administrative tools and discovered that we have 18
subscribers in MAIL mode and another 6 in DIGEST mode (24 total).

I was unable to find a problem with the list. I suspect that since the
list is new and correspondence is very low that it may appear as if the
list isn't working. I would like to encourage all list members to post
queries on a regular basis as well as Greenup genealogy/history related
topics that we can discuss together.

To get things started allow me to recommend the Lawrence Register Web site at
http://www.wwd.net/user/historical This site is devoted to
genealogy/history in the Lawrence County, OH area (just across the OH River
from Greenup County).
Many of our Greenup ancestors moved back and forth across the OH River. I
have found a number of marriages for my ancestors that lived their entire
lives in Greenup, but for one reason or another married in Lawrence County
or Scioto County, OH. You can locate the Scioto County, OhGenWeb at
