Hi!
Pat Lindeman very graciously put together the 1840 census for
us. The link to it is found at:
http://www.rootsweb.com/~kygreen2/data.html

It comes in two parts and is reported in the same order as the
names were collected. To find your names, you simply need to
use your "FIND" command.

I did search for Ledbetter and found nothing but you might try
a few variations.
