Oh boy!! There are Joseph Kirkparicks all over the place.. 'I didn't
find a Eleanor Friend and Joseph Kirkpatrick.

But I did find a marriage in Hardin county between Elizabeth Friend and
John Wilson in 1797 with Joseph Kirkpatrick as surety. There is a
marriage for James Kirkpatrick and Elizabeth Friend in 1823 Hardin
county.

I found a Joseph Kirkpatirck's will with a wife Hannah in Hardin county
dated 1819.

There is an article about Phillip's Fort and the first settlers, Joseph
Kirkpatrick and Banner Friend in the winter 1994 Ancestral News.

Can you give me a date near what Joseph and Eleanor's marriage would
have taken place.
