Dave, I've been trying to get two BOWLES families untangled forever as I
descend from Anna Bolds. Anna and Treasy are listed in the will below. I
have Treasy m Benjamin Bryan, Anna m Thomas FRENCH (I have copy of marriage
register, Ignatius Cissell was witness. I know there was another Ann Bowles
in the area at the time, Union County that married a McBride. Please let me
know if you find anything new that can help me straighten my
Bolds/Bowles/Boulds out

I am some what confused by these people but will tell you what I believe.
The Ann(a) ( Fanny??) BOWLES b. 1784 who m. Thomas FRENCH was d/o Ignatius BOWLES.
The Ann BOWLES b. June 1, 1776; who m. Peter McBRIDE was d/o William BOWLES & Mary CECIL.
Treasy BOWLES b. June 12, 1796 who m. Benjamin(Benedict) BRYAN(T) was d/o William BOWLES.
Ignatius also had a daughter Treacy.
I have little on Ignatius but some what more on William's family. I need more on both.
