Hi Julie,
My husband comes from Hannah Harris Wible, who, from what I have been
told/found, is the aunt of your John Mayhew/Mayhugh Harris. I have that he
was the son of James and Ann (Giles) Harris and the grandson of Samuel and
Susannah (Mayhew) Harris.
Would love to hear from you!
Jen

connected to the John Mayhugh Harris and Elizabeth (Mason) Harris line.
They were both born in Hardin Co. KY around 1806-07. They moved with their
children to Iowa in 1850 and then soon after to Gentry Co. Missouri. I was
informed that there are no birth records in Hardin Co. during the time they
were born there. I am a direct descendant of their son William McMahon
Harris who is my gggrandfather. I have been searching for his records as
well for many years. Any one with connections, I would be pleased to hear
from you. I am really excited about this web page and I can see it is doing
some people a lot of good. Happy Holidays to all.
