I'm looking for my great great grandfather's brother..
Jacob Branon, he was born 1877 and died July 4, 1921. He died in Harlan
County.
If anyone knows how to get an obituary for him, or any sort of notice that
may have been in the Harlan newspapers, I would think there would be
something, as his death is listed as "Homicide" due to a gun shot wound. He
was a coal miner, but when I looked at the lists of coal miners in Harlan
County, he was not listed anywhere. If anyone could help me with anything,
I'd very much appreciate it. Thanks so much. Meg
