Its interesting that he is said to be the son of Edward Burkhart and Sarah Saylor. I saw a message posted back in 2000, that said she was told that their name should have been Burkhart,somthing to do with and Indian women having a male baby by a Burkhart, wonder if there is a way to check if Sarah Saylor was an Indian, how did you find out Silas parents could be Edward Burkhart and Sarah Saylor, ? thanks.
