Born to Mr. & Mrs. J. D. Bramel, Jan 19th, a fine son.
Died. Mrs. Cynthia Curtis, wife of Joseph Curtis, died at her home on Cedar
Creek, Jan 18th, after a short illness of pneumonia. A few hours later the
4 year-old son of Mr. & Mrs. Frank nichols died after a short illness of
brain fever. The funeral services of both were conducted here Thursday afternoon
at 2 o’clock aftr which the remains were laid to rest in the church yard
near by.

Frank Taylor, who killed John Delaney in a lumber camp in Clark County, was
formerly a resident of Piqua. Robertson County friends went on his bond,
$1,500 and he was released from jail to await the action of the circuit court at
Winchester.

Mr. & Mrs. Tom Brown and son, of San Francisco, California, arrived on a
visit to the former’s parents, Mr. & Mrs. William Brown. Mrs. Brown, who has
been quite ill, is on the road to recovery. This is gratifying news to her
many friends.

Samuel Alexander McKee
b. 1837 at Ruddell’s Mills
d. Jan 19, 1911 at his home in Knightstown, IN of cerebral hemorrhage.
His grandfather, John McKee, owned and operated the Ruddell’s Mills where
his father, Willliam McKee and his uncles, John, Thos. And Samuel McKee were
born. His father removed his family to Butler County, OH in 1845. In 1858 said
Samuel McKee removed to Indiana which state has since been his home
m. 1861
They had nine children of which 8 survive
Survived by wife, eight children, four grandchildren and two great
grandchildren. (No names given).

Hamilton.
Mr. Enoch Jones, son of Samuel Jones of Nicholas County and Miss Nancy
Smith, daughter of the late Waltham Smith were married Tuesday in this city.
Mr. Levi Beckett, son of J. W. Beckett, and Miss Lucy Giles, daughter of
John Giles were married in Cynthiana Monday.

To Mr. & Mrs. George Ireland, a daughter. Mrs. Ireland was formerly Miss
Iva Anderson.
The wife of Mr. John McCane of near Centerville on Thursday gave birth to
twin sons, weighting 7 ½ pounds each.
Mrs. McCane is the mother of twin daughters, now thirteen years of age.
