Do you have any thoughts on this?
Also I am a member of the Preservation of Cemeteries in Henderson. We have
started a cleanup of the Book-Hart Cemetery near Anthoston Ky. I have been
doing research on the families buried there. The cemetery is a mess but with
some luck hopefully we will have it back in shape in the spring. I have some
pictures of the cemetery if anyone is interested.
The Wells family married into the Zephaniah Griffin family. Coatney Griffin
married John Waller Wells. Anyone interested in this Griffin family I have
much on them at:

Hi Doris,
I have a Martha Griffen, who first md. a Nathaniel Hart 10th April 1845 in
Henderson Co., KY, son of Nathaniel Hart and Polly. (Polly md. second to Gen.
Joseph Lane).
I found in some census and other records, that Martha md. second to a Luther
H. Wells. They had the following children: John W. Wells b. abt. 1858,
William T. Wells b. abt. 1859, Ther Wells b. abt 1860, and Ida E. Wells b.
abt. 1865.
All I have on Martha is that her mother's name was Mary, her father being
_____ Griffen. I have no parents of Luther Wells.
Now there is some question whether the Martha Griffen who md. Nathaniel Hart
is the same Martha Griffen who md. Luther H. Wells. I need to do some more
research on that.
For all those of you who live close to Henderson, KY please help out with
cleaning the Cemeteries they are working on. I went up there in DEC and
helped out. We need to preserve our History, and I was glad to be a part of
it:)
Heather
