My friends -

I now have another installment ready in our continuing review of the Grants
West of the Tennessee River series, which covers land grants in the Jackson
Purchase.

This installment covers some more of the "C" surnames. Included in this group
are the following surnames: Carr, Carrick, Caruthers, Carrol(l), Cates,
Catlitt, Casey, Castleberry, Castor, Case, Cannon, Canada, Chapman,
Chandler, Chambers, Chaney, Chappell and Cavitt.

If you would like a copy of this text file, let me know and I will get it
to you.**Because of the growing number of these files which are available,
I am going to have to now begin assigning file numbers and asking that you
specify the file name that you wish to receive.** In this case, ask for the
*LG799* file. I will send it as a plain text attachment to an e-mail
message, unless you indicate that you need it as straight e-mail(which
tends to skew the columnar alignments). *Please note* that you will receive
the complete file - time constraints will not allow me to go into the file
and pull out individual surnames and send them individually.

Your assistance in not resending this entire message back to me when you
make your request is greatly appreciated.
