Sue,

I contacted Bosse Funeral Home in regard to several members of my
family. I think the earliest date was 1915 though. They were very
helpful.

The left side of the page itemizes the charges for services, casket,
clothing, obituaries, etc. It lists in which papers and on which dates
the obituaries appeared.

The right side includes the following if you're lucky enough to have
everything filled in:

Deceased name
Residence
Charge to
Address
Sex, Marital Status
Husband or Wife
Name of Father Living/Deceased
Name of Mother Living/Deceased
Occupation
Birthplace
Date of Birth
Age (Years, Months, Days)
Date of Death
Place of Death Time
Cause of Death
Physician
Date of Burial or Shipment
Funeral from
Place of Services Time
Place of Burial
Lot No. Section
Survivors
Remarks

Please remember when asking for anything pre 1937 that the records in
Louisville may have been damaged or destroyed in the flood. I was lucky
enough that none of my records were damaged beyond repair but some of
Bosse's records evidently have some damage.

If you don't know the funeral home (my family has used Bosse for about 5
generations) then the cemetery record or the death certificate should
list it for you.
