Hello again,

I forgot to mention my father SIM CALDWELL was born 1903 so his records may
have been a part of that. Were these records stockpiled in a warehouse. A
Program Specialist for the DSS in Frankfort, Charles Bonta, several years
ago said that the files I was looking for were in a warehouse, not in
alphabetical order and only a few people had keys. I contacts the Mormon
history center in Salt Lake and suggested they request a Commission from the
State of KY to copy those files before it was to late per Mr. Bonta's
suggestion. What I got back were suggestions for doing research in KY and I
was told KY was one of the hardest to research due to records not being kept
earlier on in history. That was when I gave up for some time. Well, I could
never really let this thing go.
PLEASE, if you know anything about this would you please contact me. I am
new to this list and to using PC let alone using it to do genealogy so
please excuse my fumbling around.

Sincere Thanks,

Elizabeth Lee Caldwell
