I have just finished reading "DOOM FAMILIES OF AMERICA" edited by Merle
Ganier.She mentions varies things & it my hope that some one will recognize
some of these places as I list them: !)Doom Chapel in Graves Co., near
Doom's Spring, on land that used to belong to Isaac Doom?( not the Doom's
Chapel in Lyon Co.) 2) Western Ky-Doom's Landing 3) The land of John Doom
near Spring Creek in Graves Co. abt.1815---he M. Polly Kelly 25 Feb.1810 in
Caldwell Co.(now Lyon) & was B. 1785 4) According to his will he D. in
Hickman Co. abt. 1833 but I don't know where he is buried? Any help on this
will be appreciated.
