Thanks to Bill for all the great work on the KYJacksonPurchase.

I was wondering if anyone has any information on a Micajah Rose, who was
on the Calloway County Tax Rolls from 1847 - 1859. Or any Rose that was
originally from Edgecomb County North Carolina, that relocated to the
Jackson Purchase area. Micajah Roses' son also named Micajah was
married in 1850 to Elizabeth Ogdon, (daughter of Henry and Sally Ogdon)
in Calloway County, Kentucky. They then moved to Pope County, Illinois.
After Elizabeth's death in 1892, Micajah moved to Barlow, Ballard
County, Kentucky where he passed away in 1903.

Would appreciate any help in trying to find information on the Rose or
Ogdon familys.
