My friends -

I am now up to date on the requests for data that were pending, with the
exception of one which is bouncing back to me for some reason. I'll
continue to try to get it through.

Today, we are going to return to our series on Early Calloway County
Marriages. In prior posts in this series, we have advanced from 1823 to
1836 and we will finish that year and begin 1837 in today's installment. If
you see a marriage which is of interest to you, and you would like the full
dataset for that marriage(which normally includes the dates of license and
marriage, who performed the ceremony, and consents if such were necessary),
let me know and I will get that information to you. And, as always, your
help in not resending this entire message back to me with your request is
greatly appreciated.

I want to ask for a bit of help - I receive, each week, one or two messages
from folks who send some type of attachment with their message. Sometimes,
there is nothing in the message body - just the attachment. I will not open
any attachment that comes to me without an explanatory message telling me
what it is - there is too much danger these days of someone outside our
List family sending virus or worm infested items in attachments - and often
the name of the file may not clue us in to what may really be there. My
request is this: if you want to send an attachment to me, send me a message
ahead of time - without the attachment - and tell me what it is you wish to
send. In that way, we can touch base with each other and I will know what
is coming. Your help on this is appreciated.
