My friends -

I was called away unexpectedly late today, which has cut back on my
computer time. I still have numerous requests to which I need to respond,
and I hope to have those completed before midnight. That won't leave any
time for a data posting today. We'll resume with those tomorrow.

I still have had no word on the creation of the JPLore List - I have
inquired again as to the status. However, the Land-Research-L List is now
up and has been announced on John Fuller's weekly message on new lists that
are available. For those of you with an interest in land and property
research, and its applications in genealogy, you can subscribe to the list
by sending a message to
, with nothing in the subject field
and only the word Subscribe in the message area. If you wish to receive it
in digest format, substitute a "D" for the "L" in the address string(i.e.,
Land-Research-D-request...etc.)
Hopefully, we'll have the Lore list up tomorrow.
