Does anyone have access to any marriage records, most likely
of Calloway Co, KY, who can do some look-ups for me?
Uncle Charlie (Charles Griffin Barton) had four wonderful
(so I am told) wives, who each left him a widower, but I
don't have complete marriage information on any of them.
Uncle Charlie was the son of William Henry Barton and
Rebecca Catherine Orr, and lived in Calloway County most or
all of his life. He was born there in 1870 and died there
in 1943, and is buried in the cemetery at Sinking Spring
Baptist Church in Calloway County.
First wife: MARY LULU BOOKER (1873-1896), married 14 Jan
1891 (where?). They had two children: Datha Barton
(1892-1893, bur Sinking Spring), and Samuel C, although I
have Samuel's birthdate as 26 Sept 1896 and Mary's as 29
Jul 1896.
Second wife: CORA L JONES (1877-1903), must have married
after Mary's death in 1896; son Toy Barton listed as
there's but birthdate on Sinking Spring gravestone is 27 Dec
1893; also James (1901-1908, bur Sinking Spring)
Third wife: ANNA JONES PASCHALL (1868-1922) - Story is told
that Anna had two grown sons by her first husband when she
married Charlie Barton. She is buried at Lassiter Cemetery
in Calloway County (with Mr. Paschall?)
Fourth wife: LOLA BEATRICE GREGORY (dates unknown) -
married 18 May 1933 - where? - one child, Beatrice Catherine
Barton

I would appreciate any information on the above families.
