My friends -

Today, we are returning to McCracken County to continue our review of the
Vital Statistics marriage records in the 1852 - 1905 time frame. As I have
mentioned before, that time frame is deceptive, because only a relative few
marriages are found in these records for periods other than 1852-1860 and
1874-1878, the two periods when the KY Legislature had passed vital
statistics enabling legislation, prior to the permanent act of 1910.

Subscribers to the lists which I host can request the full dataset for a
marriage shown in the listing below(which usually includes the ages of
bride and groom, where each was born, and the date of the marriage) by
sending that request to me. Your continued assistance in not resending this
entire message back to with the request is greatly appreciated.

As I mentioned yesterday, my response time is a bit slower at this time,
due to the rapidly approaching JP Homecoming event, so please bear with me.
