My friends -

Today, we are returning to Marshall County to resume our review of the
early marriage records for that county. In prior segments, we had advanced
to 1853 and we will continue with that year in this installment.

Subscribers to the lists which I host can request the full dataset for a
marriage in the listing below(which usually contains the date of marriage,
consents if required, age of bride and groom, where born and who performed
the ceremony, as well as witnesses) by sending a message to me with that
request. Your continuing assistance in not resending this entire message
back to me with the request is appreciated.

Turning for a moment to the JP Homecoming event next week - I have had
several questions from subscribers who cannot attend the Homecoming this
year about whether the presentations will be videotaped and if handouts
from those presentations will be available. We expect to videotape the
presentations, but, in order to get some idea of how many people might like
to be able to get a copy of these videos after the event is concluded,
please let me know if you would have an interest in purchasing videos of
these talks. We would not make any profit on them, but we do need to know
if there is enough widespread interest in obtaining them in order to plan
for how the duplicating process is done.
