My friends -

I am glad to report that I am about 80% recovered from the "bug" which I
brought back from Oklahoma, and, as a result, we will get back to data
posts today.

This day's post is from Graves County, as we continue our review of Vital
Statistics birth records from that County in the 1852-1859 time frame. In
prior posts, we had advanced to the year 1856, and we ill continue with
that year in this segment.

Subscribers to the JP and Graves lists can obtain the full dataset for an
individual listed below(which usually includes date of birth, gender of the
child if not obvious, and the name of the father and maiden name of the
mother)by sending a request to me. As always, your continuing assistance in
not resending this entire message back to me with the request is greatly
appreciated.

Later this week, I will be discussing the possibilities for getting images
of the pages Graves County Order Book G to those who have found references
to their families in the Index.
