My friends -

I am stopping by quickly to try to get this message out to you before my
connection goes down again. My primary ISP is having problems with their
mail server this evening, which, ordinarily, would not be cause for
concern, as I have a backup ISP, although it is a dial-up. However, a
telephone cable has apparently been damaged near here and the line is going
up and down. As a result, I'm not sure if this will get out or not, but I
am going to try to send it.

I have a few pending requests from earlier today, and if my primary ISP
comes up before midnight, I will try to fill those. If not, you will
receive them before the end of the day tomorrow. There will be no data post
this evening, but we'll try it again tomorrow.

I also have been in touch with our good friend, Kandie Adkinson, at the KY
Land Office, and she tells me of some great new tools for those of us
working in the JP region. I'll tell you about those tomorrow, too.
