Hello,
I was wondering if anyone could tell me the name of the VA hospital that was in Calloway Co. or close by in the late 1930's. Also, I have no experience in obtaining WW1 records. Any help will be greatly appreciated. My grandfather, Edward Kirks, and 2 other men from the area, died in this VA hospital after taking experimental drugs...so the story goes. He left behind 7 young children, so I know there are pension records. I was told that this hospital no longer exists, but I would assume that the records went somewhere.
