My friends -

The XP problem child computer is safely in the shop. I hope to have it back
by the end of the week. In the meantime, I will continue to use my laptop
for communication. Just as a recap, I will mention again that I have all of
the Graves County Order Book G page images requests on hand, and, as soon
as my main computer is back in my hands, I will get those out to everyone.
My apologies for the delay.

I am resuming data posts today with a continuation of our review of
Marshall County Vital Statistics birth records in the 1852-1861 time frame.
We are in the last phases of this very long series, looking further at the
1861 group of births.

The quantity of names shown below will be less than my usual 20-30, as my
wife suffered a fall yesterday and fractured a rib, and, as a result, my
computer time will be somewhat lessened for the next few days as I get her
through the worst of that injury, which is incredibly painful.

Subscribers to the JP and Marshall lists can obtain the full dataset for a
birth in the list below by sending a request to me. Generally, each dataset
contains the date of birth for the child, the gender in most cases, if not
obvious, and the name of the father and maiden name of the mother. As
always, your continuing assistance in not resending this entire message
back to me with the request is always appreciated.

Tomorrow, I'll bring another case from the JP which went through the
Appeals Court system.
