I have many folks in my family tree (the Bazzell family of Calloway county)
that I would like to obtain death certificates for. I have a current list of
about 12 people that I would like to start with. I have all the information
I need from the Kentucky Death Index. I would like to find a cheaper route
than the Vital Records Office, as I think each certificate will cost about
$12.00.

The US GenWeb site for Kentucky has information about people who will do
lookups and return xerox copies of death records for $1 up to $4.00 each. My
question is... Has anyone on this list ever tried the less expensive source?
I am not trying to be cheap, but I don't need official copies, just the
information on the certificates and I already spend wayyyyy tooo much on
this hobby (obsession) as it is.
