Hi to all,
One of the subscribers on my Hardin county Tennessee list recently sent a
link to the website of some wonderful transcriptions of a Methodist
Newspaper that printed death notices starting in the 1830s up to the
nineteenth century.

While perusing some of the pages, (there are many many pages) I clipped any
that mentioned Calloway county connections.

July 5, 1890

MARY MILDRED MORRIS, nee Hill, widow of the Rev. F. M. Morris (died 1867),
Memphis Meth. Conference; died Henning, Tenn., Feb. 8, 1890 in the 58th year
of her age; youth spent in Graves Co., Ky.; 3 daughters.

DIANNA BAZEL daughter of Rev. Luke Langstone, Calloway Co., Ky., born May
18, 1821; married David Bazel, Oct. 1842; died Feb. 5, 1848.

SUSAN O. LUTER wife of Richard M. Luter, born Feb. 14, 1817; joined
Methodist Church July 27, 1871; died February 11, 1890.

MARTHA WELLS born in S.C.; moved about 1800 to Grace [Graves?] Co., Ky.;
moved to Calloway Co., Ky., about 1822, where she died Dec. 19, 1847 in the
75th year of her age.

Dr. M. P. WILSON born Marshall Co., Tenn., June 30, 1847; died near New
Concord, Ky., Jan. 21, 1915; moved to Calloway Co., Ky., 1867 and studied
medicine with an uncle, Dr. A. G. Wilson; he practiced medicine in Calloway
County; husband and father (2 daus., 4 sons).

ELIZABETH M. HANELINE w/o David S. Haneline; d/o Devrieux and Eliza Wrather,
born June 25, 1826; died July 31, 1859.


HIRAM BOURLAND died Calloway Co., Ky., Dec. 12, 1839 aged 31 years, 11 days
[Nov. 23, 1798].

INA PEARL BAZZELL died Wingo, Ky., Aug. 30, 1888 aged 11 years, 6 months
old.
