Dear List:

I have some more exciting news regarding finding information about the SNOW Family!! In an attempt yesterday to find out additional information about Jesse Pritchard and Mary E. (Ellen) Snow Pritchard, I called a lady in Kentucky whose last name was Pritchard - she referred me to someone and they referred me to someone else. The last lady I spoke to said that she had a scrap of paper which simply had the words "1847 - Snow re: Church Records" and a phone number. I called the number and it had been disconnected so once again I made some more phone calls. Finally, I found the lady whose phone number had been disconnected and I told her about the scrap of paper. She said that several years ago the church was attempting to find family members of all the people who had attended the church. She dug through her old church paperwork and my dreams came true.

As many of you know, I have been searching for numerous years for birth dates, and death dates of WILLIAM and MARY CLAPP SNOW - all we had were approximate years. The old Church Records of the "Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (not Mormon but a branch from) of Farmington, Graves County, showed birthdates, death dates, date of baptism, and who baptized them. Three of William and Mary's children and their spouses were also listed. This church was organized on July 7, 1874 by J. C. Clapp.
