Does anyone know about an M.P. McElrath who appears on the 1850
Livingston Co, KY census pg 360B household #523 (household of George
Hurley). M.P. McElrath is a male age 38 born in KY.

I am trying to determine if this person may be a son of William McElrath
(c1770 SC - 1850 KY) who located to Calloway County in the 1820's.
There is a male in William's household that appears on the 1820 Stewart
Co TN census and the 1830 Calloway Co KY census and who would have been
born around 1810-1815. I am not aware of any other McElrath families
that were in the Jackson Purchase (or nearby in the case of Livingston
Co), so I am hoping I can somehow ties this one in.
