Does anyone have a adult Benjamin Barclay in their family back in 1840?
I believe his middle name starts with a "L" but it could be a "T" .
Hard to read that.

I have an old letter dated June 2, 1840 where he is being warned not to return to the Hopkinsville Hotel. From the way the letter reads he got in trouble..lol..
I would try to transcribe it but it's a little "loopy" in areas for me to make out.
So thought I'd offer a scan instead.
