I live in Dade City, Florida.

I served two different times in the Air Force (accounting-finance office
and taught school in the Dayton, Ohio area for 6 years, then moved to Florida.

I retired from teaching in 1990. I have had and still have many health
problems (cancer, heart, etc.) but I have been blessed and not complaining.

Yes, the teachers in the Knott County schools did expect a lot of the
students and the parents backed the teacher.
