Hi Robert,
Here are two places in Knox County, Barbourville I have stayed at.
The first one is the College Motel located on College Street across the street
from Union College. It is owed by a married couple that stay at the motel.
When I stayed there last August they had one room that was a No Smoking room.
(My two daughters and I stayed in that room for two weeks.) I think they have
about 10 rooms total. They fill up fast, so I would call and make
reservations. All the rooms have a little refrigerator and cable TV. Its not
really fancy, but like the couple that own the motel and I would stay there
again. They advertise in the Barbourville Mountain Advocate their rooms start
at $29.95, not bad!

I think there is also a Bed & Breakfast located in town, but I cant think of
