This indenture made May 24, 1880, between Jacob Haun and Olivia Haun his
wife of the first part and R. A Bain of the second part all of Knox County,
Kentucky.
Witnesseth, that for and in consideration of the sum of $300 Three Hundred
Dollars in hand paid the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged the
parities of the first have sold and do by these presents sell, alien, and
convey and confirm unto the party of the second part his heirs and assigns
forever the following tract and boundary of land, lying upon Cumberland
River about 4 miles below the town of Barbourville - in Knox County,
Kentucky. Beginning at the mouth of a small branch, thence up the River. N.
10 E. 43. poles to a small maple, thence N. 84. W, 108 poles to a double
chestnut. Thence s. 88 1/4 - E. 142 poles to a small gum on the bank of a
small branch, thence down the same to the beginning - bring the same land
deeded to the parties of the first part April 4, 1877 by the Heirs of Hiram
Bain deceased and being a part of his real estate.
To have and to hold the same unto the parties of the second part his heirs
and assigns forever free from the claims of the first party hereto, and
free from the Claims of all other persons, with convenant of "General
Warrenty."
In Testimony whereof the parties of the first page here unto set their
hands the day and year first above written.

T J Wyatt, Clerk of the Knox County Court do certify that the forgoing Deed
of conveyance from Jacob Haun and Olivia Haun to R. A. Bain was on the 24th
day of May, 1880 produced to me in said County and acknowledged before me
said Grantors to be their act and deed, and the same together with this
certificate has been duly recorded in my office.
Given under my hand, this 19- day of December, 1881.
