Many families living in Knox Co had/have strong ties with Bell Co. My
Melton/Milton, Overton, Partin and on mothers side Golden, Jones, Hobbs
have ties to Bell, Whitley Co KY ad well as Claibourne CO TN. Lots of folk
from the Kay Jau, Poplar Creek and other areas lived in on county, worked
in another and had family in both areas. Granfather Golden lived at Anchor
Coal Camp in KayJay area worked in Bell at another coal camp and would stay
with a releative there if worked overtime. Also Harlan Co was another area
that both grandfathers worked I want to say Balkins not sure and both had
some releative in rea.

There was a Dr. Jones that lived in Warren Camp in the early 1900's he also
was reported to live at Trosper this is on death certificater I have.
