Jo Moose has transcribed district 47 of the 1904 school census.
I currently have one district on my computer left to transcribe
if anyone is interested in helping. I think there are also eight
years of school censuses left at the courthouse if we have enough
volunteers that could do this I will go and make copies of the
school census so they are all online, of course one at a time ;-)

Brenda Huff sent in photographs of the old Jarvis Store Post Office.
I can't believe I pass this store 6 times a week and never even saw
the sign or knew it was the old Post Office until she pointed it out
to me! I'm still searching for others who may have old photographs
of Knox County Post Offices. Would love to have a photograph of each
of the Post Offices posted on the site.

Ray Stewart and Neda Taylor have completed the 1860 Knox County census
and it is now on the web site. Thank you guys this was a huge undertaking
for the two of you and I'm sure we will all enjoy it for years to come!

More to post this week...

Cassy.
