Would appreciate any leads regarding the parents of Stephen G. Smith. He was living in Laurel Co. in the 1910 census, age 36 (so born ca. 1874-75). He was my ggrandfather, married to Mary Etta House in Clay Co. in 1889. Their children were Myrtle (married Henry Smith), Lillian (my grandmother, married Charles Sizemore), James (J.D.), Maggie, and Mary Elizabeth (married Jesse Sizemore). Stephen Smith and Mary House divorced, and family sources say he remarried a woman with the first name "America". He had at least one brother named Bill (William), who lived in Indiana. I've seen a posting that says in died in April, 1916, but I can't confirm this. Family sources also name his mother, or grandmother, as Patricia (Wegener)(Waggoner). Any clues to lead me to the right Smith family would be greatly appreciated.
