Judy, I am researching my AA ancestors who lived in Mason County. I found my
family in the old colored sections of the local cemetaries. The old colored
sections were at the back and outside of the main graves closest to the fence
and property lines. I found the same thing in Crab Orchard, Lincoln County,
Kentucky. I don't know if this helps.

You may also want to contact the Mason County Museum. I found them very
helpful.
