Horatio R. Wood born l797 in (Ky from the census of l850) born in Md from bio
on his son. Married Martha Dowden, daughter of Capt John Dowden of Mason
Co., Ky.; an officer in the War of l8l2. Horatio and Martha were married Nov
6, l83l in Mason Co.

Horatio was the son of Eli Wood of Md. who migrated at a very early date to
Mason Co. Horatio & Martha had: 11 children and later (l850 ) were in Boone
Co

Son John A. Wood became a doctor and practiced at Warsaw, Gallatin Co. for 5
years. In l874 he moved to Boone Springs, Boone Co. Married Delia Shhets
dau. of Andrew Sheets and Maca Dudgeon of Boone Co. They had 5 children.

Willie T, who died in infancy.

Martha's sister, Elizabeth married John Norris of Mason Co.
William Ashford Dowden ( nothing on him)
John H. Dowden (nothing on him)
