Know all men by these presents that we John Richards & James Murrah ____
are held and firmly bound unto the commonwealth of Kentucky in the Just and
full of fifty pounds for payment of which will truly be made in?
bind oundoy? our heirs Executors and Administrators Jointly and severally
firmly by the presents sealed with our seal and dated the 27th day of
September 1815
The condition of the above obligation is such that whereas a marriage
is intented to be had and solumisezed between the said John Richards and
Prudence Murrah. Now if there be no legal cause to obstruct the same, Then
the above obligation to be void else to remain in full force and virtue

This is most likely a Mason County, KY, document. I received the copy from
James L. Morris about 10 years ago. We have heard that Jim passed away last
year. I have copies of a number of his Richards findings.
