Greetings to the Web;

I read with interest the information coming from your WEB. So far none of
it pertains to my family, but enjoy reading it anyway since most of it is
about Mason county KY or Brown county Ohio where my mothers people came
from.

I am not computer literate and when I click on the attachment icon, I often
get something else. Sometimes it takes me several tries before I can open
it. Am I doing something wrong? It would be helpful if all these
attachments could be combined into one. Perhaps that's a naive suggestion.
I don't know.

My ggrandfather was Peter Degman. Born Dover, Delaware, 1776
Died 29 April 1853, Mason County.
He married Ruth Killen. Born 1789.
They came from Delaware sometime around 1800.
Their children were:
Jabez
Oscar
Peter
Susan
Thomas
Louisa
Julius
Charles
In 1840 Peter Degman married Rose Ellen Love who came from Ohio, Brown
County I think.
Their children were:
Ann J.
Laura
James H.
John P.
Howard Sylvester, (my grandfather), born 1850 at Springdale, Mason county,
Ky.

As you can see, Peter Degman was a busy man!

At some point after the civil war, Howard Sylvester went to Brownville,
Nebraska where he married my grandmother, Malinda Mofford Akles who came
from Higgensport, Brown, Ohio.

Any information on any of any of these people would be appreciated.

Peter Degman bought property near Springdale on cabin creek.
