I think everyone here at KYMASON cares about Annie. I think genealogy
attracts compassionate people. You are so kind to offer the efforts of your
listeners to help Annie and any of us other KYMASON members/

Almost 11 years ago my daughter was born at 25 1/2 weeks gestation. The
doctors told me she was sure to die. Twice I went to the NICU to say goodbye
and both times she responded miraculously to the sound of my voice and touch.
But most amazingly, the week before she was born, the doctors told me that
the premature birth was eminent and I shouldn't be hopeful. I'm in an
internationally based business. I see the same people from countries all
over the world six times a years at our markets (conventions). When calls
started to come in offering help I simply asked them to pray. My daughter
had the benefit of Catholic, Baptist, Christian, Muslim, Jewish, Buddist,
Greek Orthodox, etc. people going to their place of worship and praying for
her. It is the most remarkable thing in my life and hers. It didn't matter
what religion the prayer emanated from, but the hearts, and the collective
belief there was a higher being or energy that could help. United they all
made a difference. Today my daughter is a happy healthy, almost eleven year
old with no residual problems related to her prematurity. That is the power
of prayer.

And to bring it all back to the topic, KYMASON... I make a great effort to
teach my children history, and augment what they learn in school, through
staying in contact with people like you and tracking where we all came from,
how we link together. It is a great community which paints a fascinating
picture. Looking for MORGAN, ORME, BRAMEL, NICKELL, COLLINS, CLARK of Mason
County.

So, bottom line is that I too am praying for Annie because I know that so
frequently it makes a difference.
