May I ask how you found out they were full blooded Cherokee?
I am having problems tracking my Hammond family, reported to
be either full or part Native American.
. LAURA MARIA1 HAMMOND was born Abt. 1868 in Manchester, Adams Co.,Oh., and
died 1930 in Hamilton Co., Cinti.,Ohio. She married JOHN W. BRADFORD Abt.
1885, son of PETER BRADFORD and MARY SHELTON. He was born January 1844 in
Aberdeen, Brown Co.,Ohio, and died June 10, 1910 in Hamilton Co.,
Cinti.,Ohio. They moved to Mayesville , Mason Co, Ky abt 1885.. Found them
on the 1900 census still living Mayesill. How do you determin they are
Native American?
