The best info I have is that John was born about the 1780-90 range. Married Mary Ann Wilson around 1806 in Mason Co., KY. He died somewhere between 1852-56. It is rumored htat the family ran a ferry on the Ohio river near Maysville, Ky. A relative of mine has some research that indicate people in Ky and OH came from either Pennsylvania or West Virginia. The stronger hunch is PA since travel down the Ohio river would be more logical, given the births of the children.

I have a note that Rachel was born 1811 in Ohio and married a Peter Fryman in Nicholas Co. on 6/8/1829 (this per Nicholas Co marriage records).

Mahala was born in Ky. and married Willoughby Harney.

I have another note that Melinda was born in Ky and married a Simon Ernst.

Daniel was born in Ky. and married Adalaide Fryman or Catharine Stiarwalt.

Andrew Jackson was born in Ky. and married Mildred Harney on 6/12/1837.

George Washington was born in Ky or OH in 1822. He married Jane Smith.

Mary Jane was born in Ky. and married James Fryman.
