I am researching PRINE & find that Mathew K PRINE was born 17 APR 1791 in Maysville, Mason/Fleming Co, Kentucky. Mathew married Elizabeth Ann SHAWHAN. Elizabeth was born 27 OCT 1793 in Mason County, KY. They were married 13 APR 1815 in Mason/Fleming Co, KY.
Mathew's father, Henry PERRINE (there was a change in the spelling of the name) died 10 DEC 1823 in Maysville, Mason Co, KY. Henry is buried in Mills Graveyard, Fleming Co, KY. I would like more information about these ancestors & I am not sure how to go about it. The name change must have occured in Kentucky? Any ideas?
