I have a little Wood mystery in Mason Co.

My Dorothy Walker married Joseph Allen in 1788 in Bourbon Co (in the part
that was actually later Mason Co...the Washington area).

The interesting thing is not only that they purchased land from William Wood
(who was obviously one of the early guys) but also that in her marriage
record, Dorothy was listed as "of age," but her guardians were George and Eliza?
Elijah Wood.

What do you know about this couple?
