My g-g-g-grandfather served with Capt. Joseph C. Belt's infantry company, of
Pogue's 4th Regiment of Kentucky Volunteer Militia in the War of 1812 (from
Fleming Co.). I'm trying to find out more about where he was actually
stationed. The only details I have at this time is that it was in "northern
Ohio" from Dec. 1812 to Mar. 1813 or later.

I thought that someone on the list might have researched Capt. Belt as an
ancestor or relative and might know more about his military history. I did
have one indication that Pogue's regiment was at Fort Defiance at one time
in 1812, but they probably moved around as the focus changed.
