Thank you Ben. I did know of the Irish heritage. I have not connected
anyone with Ireland....yet. This John Cahill could well have been born
in Ireland, I don't know. However, my gut tells me that it was his
parents that were from Ireland (if anyone in my family was).. His wife,
Eleanor, I think I read somewhere (and then lost it) had parents that
were from Ireland. Her father was William and her mother was Eleanor.
And...I forgot to mention, John CAhill was listed as John COhill on the
marriage register in Culpepper, VA
