Notes for WILLIAM ROBINSON:

First settlers in this part of Bath Co, were three brothers: William, John and Hugh Robinson, and William Moffett (wife Rebecca) brother in law of the Robinsons, they came from Dauphin Co., PA built their 1st cabin on the farm beyond the big spring in 1791. Rev Howe organized the church, origional 6 members were William and John Robinson, Jame McClure, William and Rebecca Moffett. William Robinson owned at lease 400 acres of land around the church, he gave the land on which the Springfield Church was built.

Nov 9, 1802 Will Book A page 115 Mary Ann Robinson, widow of William Robinson, received her dower from his estate (1/3 interest in 367 acres)
