I don't know the answer to that but I am forwarding this on to Lynda Hynan
whose ancestor Hannah McCormick (md. Wm. Rodgers) was d/o Wm. and Maria
McCormick, who were killed by Indians supposedly near Mt. Sterling. My John
E. McCormick (s/o Wm. and Maria) went on to Bracken Co., Ky. by 1808.
Hopefully, Lynda can enlighten us both on your question.
