Randy,
I read your other email before I got this one, so I just wanted to let
you know I'll do my best to get back to looking for info on the Berrys
as soon as possible. I've just been bombarded here at New Year's time I
didn't expect. I, too, would like to know more about them. I'll
definitely holler as soon as I can find out any little tidbit that might
open this up for you (and me).
I took a quick glance at my family tree program to see how many Berrys I
had listed. I'm not sure of the relation, but I also have a Michael S.
Berry (Abt 1768 in Germany) who married a Lucy Gibbs (same age) and he
died in 1866 (no other info). They had a daughter named Susanna who
married Daniel Yager on 3 Nov 1806 in Oldham County. Of course, the
Yager line is another large family from Germany to Virginia to Oldham.
I do have that Susanna was born in Madison County, Virginia (could this
have been Madison County, Kentucky?). My original Fendley came from
Ireland, stopped off in Virginia, before traveling to Madison County,
Kentucky where he married Cecilia Pollard. They then migrated north to
Oldham where they settled. Many times, families took the same path, so
that is where I'm leaning right now. I just need to find the records to
prove that. Are you familiar with this Michael at all? I also have an
Elizabeth (married a Knott), Juriah (female who married Adam Yager in
Virginia), and a Rebecca who married a John Beach. I think these might
be kids of Michael, even though I don't have proof of this yet. I just
find it ironic that these other Berrys also lived in Virginia and
eventually ended up marrying people that lived in Oldham County. I'm
thinking there might be a connection.

Boy could I use some help in locating some Berry's. Mainly one Elias
Berry according to census records he was born abt. 1820 in VA. Which
doesn't mean a whole lot since quite a bit of Ky use to be Va. But he
was married to a Evaline Fitzgerald on 11 may of 1843 in Oldham county
and her father's name was William. Any type of info on Elias would be
greatly appreciated, any thing at all, who knows it might take me in the
right direction. I would be glad to share any information I have on his
descendents. As well as there pictures. Many are of my grandfather and
his mom and brothers. taken between 1910-1940. Some at there home in
Indianapolis, In and some at there home in WESTPORT on the Ohio River.
Thanks a ton,
Randy S. Berry
ggggrandson of Elias
