Dear Listers,

It has been my Baptist experience that one Baptist church spawns another.
Someone gets upset with someone else and sets up another church. Therefore,
I suggest there are several Baptist churches in Owenton and Owen Co.

My own ancestor, who moved from Owenton to Georgetown, Scott Co., belonged
to the Particular Baptist Church. She was very supportive of it. I suspect
it was only one of the varieties of Baptists available.
